Bought as a replacement charger, and so far been in use for months, and have had no issues, the charger has worked without a single problem, though it does get a tad warmer than my original charger (though that always seems to be an issue with non official brand chargers), but it is not enough heat to have problems, my sister in-law is the one that uses this, and she easily has it charging on this charger for 8+ hours at a time, while in use, and has not had any problems with the device. If not for that little issue and the fact that the cord does appear to be a tad shorter than the original for my laptop (a hp 6710b), (roughly 1-2 feet shorter)this would easily have been a perfect 5 out of 5.

This charger keeps my laptop charged and runs cooler than the OEM HP charger that now stays at the office. No significant complaints. The cord from the charger to the wall is a little short, but you know what? It's $10 shipped, and I have extension cord technology at my disposal.
